St. Stephen’s Cathedral – Roman Catholic Cathedral in Shkodër. During the siege of skutari (1912-1913) the Cathedral was damaged by the Montenegrin army, especially c South-East side. The Cathedral was closed in 1967 and reopened in 1990.
These ruins of a 5th-century synagogue are located right in the heart of town and provide evidence of one of the earliest Balkan-Jewish communities. The synagogue had been converted into a basilica during the 6th century.

The mosque was built in 1502 and named after the Ottoman Turkish Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror (Sulltan Mehmet Fatihu). Closed by the Communist authorities, it became a cultural monument in 1973.
