The first Orthodox Church in Shkodra was built at the river Bunoy in the late 18th century.
Mosque of the king, also known as the Sultan mosque (Xhamia e Sulltanit) or the mosque of Sultan Bayezid. Built in the 15th century by the Ottoman Sultan Bayezid II for the local Albanian population. Now considered a cultural monument of Albania.
In the southern part of Tirana there is a huge forest Park with a large beautiful artificial lake.
Road Egnatia was a road constructed by the Romans in the 2nd century BC. It crossed the Roman provinces of Illyricum, Macedonia, and Thrace, running through territory that is now part of modern Albania, the Republic of Macedonia, Greece, and European Turkey.
The lead mosque also known as mosque Izgurli, built in the 16th century by the local feudal Ahmet Bej Uzgurliu and is currently a cultural monument of Albania. It takes its name from the lead covering of the domes of the mosque.
